I use the powerful benefits of EMDR therapy with clients who are ready to fast track work to address anxiety, depression, phobias, and post-traumatic stress. You will receive your own, client-centered therapeutic plan and process.
I use a warm and supportive, yet semi-structured and intentional approach. My approach is relational, and integrates what we know about neurobiology, ego states, and attachment in order to alleviate symptoms.
I use systems theory (how we interact with the world and ourselves) and EMDR therapy (helping brains naturally rewire in a more adaptive way), in combination with IFS and various other approaches.

It’s highly likely. EMDR can be effectively utilized for:
Resourcing: We will work to strengthen internal resources while soothing parts of you that feel limited. EMDR utilizes images, emotions, body sensations, and positive cognitions to increase feelings of calm, safety, and confidence.
Resolving relationship difficulties: Attachment-focused EMDR works to repair unmet development needs (often called attachment wounding) when we have experienced an absence of care/neglect or abuse.
Trauma recovery: While I often utilize EMDR for clients with big “T” trauma (e.g. a major car accident, assault), I also support clients with small “t” traumas (e.g. chronic or ongoing stressful conditions, such as interpersonal conflict, difficult parents, financial stress). One of the most overlooked aspects of small ‘t’ traumas is their accumulated effect. Multiple, compounded small ‘t’ traumas may lead to distress in the nervous system and trouble with emotional functioning.
EMDR is a form of adaptive information processing which helps the brain evolve from limiting beliefs. EMDR may avoid some of the long and difficult abreactive work often involved in the treatment of anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress symptoms (such as intrusive thoughts, nightmares, and flashbacks), dissociative disorders, depression, phobias, identity crisis, and other adverse experiences.
Research in neuroplasticity demonstrates that our brain has the ability to change, create new neural pathways, and produce new neurons. Because the brain has this ability to change, we have the ability to change our way of thinking and improve mood. Neural pathways in the brain are strengthened with repetition. One way to describe this process is “neurons that fire together, wire together.” Constant repetition of an experience leads to changes within the brain’s structure and how the neurons process that experience. EMDR utilizes our brains’ neuroplasticity to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections, which allows the brain to compensate for injury and adjust to new situations.

Regular weekly therapy is $225 per 50 min session.
The most common length of EMDR Intensive Programs is the 3-Day program (12 total hours). The total cost for which is $3900.

After hours and weekend EMDR Intensive Therapy works out to approximately $490 per 60 mins.

It depends on the format of care you choose:
For Weekly Therapy: I am an out-of-network provider. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network behavioral health benefits, I can provide you with a monthly Superbill to submit to your insurance carrier for partial reimbursement.
For EMDR Intensives: Intensive programs are strictly private pay only. Because insurance companies do not recognize or reimburse for multi-hour, accelerated trauma processing, intensives are not eligible for insurance coverage, and Superbills cannot be provided for these programs.
For Weekly Clients: How to Verify Your Benefits
If you are pursuing the weekly care track and want to utilize your out-of-network benefits, call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
"Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits for outpatient psychotherapy?"
"What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met yet?"
"What percentage of the fee is reimbursed per session once my deductible is met?"

The duration of therapy varies based on individual needs and circumstances. Factors include your challenges, goals, weekly attendance, and other considerations.
For clients who attend weekly sessions, therapy can typically last anywhere from 4 months, to a year or longer. If you are looking to accelerate progress, consider therapy intensives (3-hour sessions focused on resolving persistent issues). These are customized to meet your specific needs.

Two business days are required to cancel a one-hour appointment. Two weeks are required to cancel any appointment for longer than 60 minutes. All late or missed appointments, except in cases of environmental or medical emergency, are charged using the authorized billing method at the full rate of the services scheduled. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we consider the appointment a No-Show and charge your credit card on file. Discounts may be applied at the discretion of the clinical director.
